§ 2380.91. Firesafety training for individuals.
(a) An individual shall be instructed in the individuals primary language or mode of communication, upon initial admission and reinstructed annually in general firesafety, evacuation procedures, responsibilities during fire drills, the designated meeting place outside the building or within the fire safe area in the event of an actual fire, and smoking safety procedures if individuals smoke at the facility.
(b) If an individual is medically or functionally unable to participate in the firesafety training, the facility shall keep documentation specifying why the individual could not participate.
(c) A written record of firesafety training, including the content of the training and individuals attending, shall be kept.
