§ 3800.186. Adverse reaction.
If a child has a suspected adverse reaction to a medication, the facility shall notify the prescribing physician, the childs parent and, if applicable, the childs guardian or custodian, immediately. Documentation of adverse reactions and the physicians response shall be kept in the childs record.
