§ 103.2. Definitions.
The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
MotorboatA boat being operated by motor, including a sailboat with sails if the motor is running.
SailboatA boat being propelled with only sails; if a motor is attached it is not engaged.
Slow, no wake speedThe slowest possible speed of a motor boat required to maintain maneuverability so that the wake or wash created by the motorboat on the surface of the water is minimal.
