  Amending Title 1 (General Provisions) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, adding definitions relating to courts for purposes of statutory construction.

 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows:

 Section 1. Section 1991 of Title 1 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended by adding definitions to read:
§  1991. Definitions.

 The following words and phrases, when used in any statute finally enacted on or after September 1, 1937, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, shall have the meanings ascribed to them in this section:

  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, repealing provisions relating to false imprisonment.

 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows:

 Section 1. Section 2903 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:
[§  2903. False imprisonment.

 A person commits a misdemeanor of the second degree if he knowingly restrains another unlawfully so as to interfere substantially with his liberty.]

  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, repealing provisions relating to a defense to prosecution for burglary.

 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows:

 Section 1. Section 3502(b) of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is repealed.

  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, repealing provisions relating to a defense to prosecution for burglary.

 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows:

 Section 1. Section 3502(b) of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is amended to read:

  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, repealing the definition of ‘‘indecent contact’’ relating to sexual offenses.

 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows:

 Section 1. The definition of ‘‘indecent contact’’ in section 3101 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes is repealed.

  Amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, changing definitions relating to offenses involving danger to the person.

 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania hereby enacts as follows:

 Section 1. The definitions of ‘‘bodily injury’’ and ‘‘serious bodily injury’’ in section 2301 of Title 18 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes are amended to read:
§  2301. Definitions.

 The following words and phrases when used in this chapter shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:

 ‘‘Bodily injury.’’ Impairment of physical or mental condition or substantial pain.

 ‘‘Serious bodily injury.’’ Bodily injury which creates [a substantial] any risk of death or which causes serious, permanent disfigurement, or protracted loss or impairment of the function of any bodily member or organ.
