§ 155.1. Filing and service fees for appellate courts.



Fee
I.Appeals and Reviews
 A.For all services in connection with the filing, hearing and disposition of an appeal from, or direct review of a judgment or action of a lower governmental unit or other authority.50.00

This is a composite fee which covers   1. All filings   2. Ancillary matters   3. Routine procedural matters   4. Post-decision matters   Except where a specific fee is provided below in this part.
 B.Second and subsequent requests for extension
  1. For filing by a party of a request for a second extension of time to file a brief.10.00

  2. For filing a third or subsequent request25.00

 C.Petition for reargument or reconsideration, filing.15.00

 D.For all services in connection with a writ of certiorari from the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania15.00

 E.For all services in connection with an appeal to or writ of certiorari from the United States Supreme Court. See ‘‘Certified copy from record’’, Part IV, infra.
II.Original Actions
For all services in connection with the filing, hearing and disposition of an action or matter originally brought in an appellate court (or transferred to the Supreme Court under Judiciary Code Sec. 726); or in connection with an application or petition for a writ preliminary to, or in the nature of an indirect review of an action of a lower governmental unit or other authority.30.00

This a composite fee like that in Part I, and subject to the same limitations.
III.Procedural Motions or Petitions Preliminary to Appeals15.00

For all services in connection with the filing, hearing and disposition of any matter of a procedural nature preliminary to an appeal or petition to review; or necessitated by any delay or oversight of the appellant/petitioner.15.00

This fee does not cover the appeal or review itself. See ‘‘Appeals and Reviews’’ Part I, supra.
IV.Miscellaneous Fees (for services to persons not parties to matters covered by Parts I-III)
