§ 181.2. Representation of Judicial Officer defendants.

 (a)  The Administrative Office, upon being called upon by the justice, judge or magisterial district judge affected, may retain, and where appropriate compensate, special counsel who shall represent a justice, judge or magisterial district judge who is named a defendant in judicial proceedings by reason of acts or omissions alleged to have been done or omitted under color of office.

 (b)  The Administrative Office shall increase the budget request of the Judicial Department for the Fiscal Year 1974-75 as otherwise adopted this date by an amount deemed necessary to cover the estimated cost of compliance with this order.
