§ 6.795. Chairperson, vice chairperson and members.

 (a)  The Deputy Secretary for the Office of Child Development and Early Learning shall serve as Chairperson of the Pennsylvania State Advisory Council on Early Childhood Education and Care (Council). In addition, the Governor shall appoint a member to serve as Vice Chairperson of the Council, who shall serve at the pleasure of the Governor.

 (b)  Council members appointed by the Governor and serving by virtue of their official position with the Commonwealth are those identified in §  6.793(1) and (4)—(7) (relating to composition). Other Council members appointed by the Governor will serve for a term of 3 years.

 (c)  Members will serve without compensation except for payment of necessary and actual expenses incurred in attending meetings and in performing their duties to only those members who are appointed as the individuals representing families under §  6.793(8). See Chapter 40 (relating to travel and subsistence).
