GENERAL
§ 3.1. Definitions.
The following words and terms, when used in this chapter, have the following meanings, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:
ArmoryAs defined in 51 Pa.C.S. § 102 (relating to definitions), lands, buildings and fixtures used for housing elements of the Pennsylvania military forces.
DepartmentThe Department of Military Affairs of the Commonwealth.
Local boardA local armory board of the Commonwealth.
Pennsylvania GuardAs defined in 51 Pa.C.S. § 102, those organized units of the Pennsylvania military forces which are not Federally recognized or which serve under the authority of the Governor when the Pennsylvania National Guard, in whole or in part, is on extended Federal active duty.
Pennsylvania military forcesAs defined in 51 Pa.C.S. § 102, the land, air and sea military units organized for the internal security of this Commonwealth.
Pennsylvania National Guard or PNGAs defined in 51 Pa.C.S. § 102, the Pennsylvania Army National Guard and the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.
State BoardThe State Armory Board of the Commonwealth.
