§ 2600.189. Adverse reaction.
(a) If a resident has a suspected adverse reaction to a medication, the home shall immediately consult a physician or seek emergency medical treatment. The residents designated person shall be notified, if applicable.
(b) The home shall document adverse reactions, the prescribers response and any action taken in the residents record.
