§ 815.50. Unclaimed prize money.

 

   All prize money on winning ‘‘Daily Number’’ Game tickets shall be retained by the Secretary of Revenue for payment to the person entitled hereto. In the event no claim is made within one year of the drawing date on the ticket, the prize money shall be paid out of the State Lottery Fund and used for purposes otherwise provided for by law, so that no less than 40% of Lottery sales revenues shall be used for payment of prizes.
