§ 15.44. Chapters.
(a) Use. Lengthy statutes may be subdivided into chapters to effect a division of the subject matter of the statute.
(b) Heading. All chapters have headings consisting of one or more words in capital letters describing in general terms what the chapter covers as follows:
CHAPTER 5
REMEDIES AND PENALTIES(c) Addition of new chapter. If it becomes necessary to introduce a new chapter between existing chapters, the new chapter is designated by the addition of a letter suffix to the preceding chapter number. Thus, a chapter introduced between Chapters 3 and 4 would be numbered Chapter 3A, and the first section would be numbered 3A01.
