§ 111.1. Scope.

 The provisions of this chapter set forth the organizational structures of the Judicial Branch and the unified judicial system as approved by the Judicial Council. Organizational charts depicting such approved structures are set forth alphabetically in Appendix A to this Chapter.

§ 111.2. Definitions.

 The following words and phrases when used in this chapter shall have, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, the meanings given to them in this section:

   ‘‘Branch.’’—As applied to a court of common pleas in a multi-county judicial district, an administrative unit which includes those system and related personnel from a particular county within the judicial district.

   ‘‘Division.’’—An administrative unit composed of those judges of a court responsible for the transaction of a class of the business of the court.

   ‘‘Section.’’—An administrative unit of the administrative staff of a court composed of those persons responsible for the support of a class of the business of the court specified by law.
