Pennsylvania Power $500 Instant Lottery Game 1702

 Under the State Lottery Law (72 P.S. §§ 3761-101—3761-314) and 61 Pa. Code § 819.203 (relating to notice of instant game rules) the Secretary of Revenue hereby provides public notice of the rules for the following instant lottery game:

 1. Name: The name of the game is Pennsylvania Power $500 (''Power $500''). The game number is PA-1702.

 2. Price: The price of a Power $500 instant lottery game ticket is $5.

 3. Play symbols: Each Power $500 instant lottery game ticket will contain one play area and one ''POWER $500'' area. The play symbols and their captions located in the play area are: 1 (ONE), 2 (TWO), 3 (THREE), 4 (FOUR), 6 (SIX), 7 (SEVEN), 8 (EIGHT), 9 (NINE), 10 (TEN), 11 (ELEVN), 12 (TWLV), 13 (THRTN), 14 (FORTN), 16 (SIXTN), 17 (SVNTN), 18 (EGHTN), 19 (NINTN), 20 (TWENT), 21 (TWYONE), 22 (TWYTWO), 23 (TWYTHR), 24 (TWYFOR), 26 (TWYSIX), 27 (TWYSVN), 28 (TWYEGT), 29 (TWYNIN), 30 (THIRT), 5 (FIVE) symbol, $500 (WIN$500) symbol and a POWER (WINALL) symbol. The play symbols and their captions located in the ''POWER $500'' area are: TRY AGAIN (NOBONUS) symbol, TRY AGAIN (NOBONUS) symbol, NO BONUS (TRYAGAIN) symbol, TRY AGAIN (NOBONUS) symbol, NO BONUS (TRYAGAIN) symbol and a 500 Burst (PWR500) symbol.

 4. Prize symbols: The prize symbols and their captions located in the play area are: $5.00 (FIV DOL), $10.00 (TEN DOL), $20.00 (TWENTY), $50.00 (FIFTY), $100 (ONE HUN), $500 (FIV HUN), $1,000 (ONE THO), $5,000 (FIV THO) and $50,000 (FTY THO).

 5. Prizes: The prizes that can be won in this game are: $5, $10, $20, $50, $100, $500, $1,000, $5,000 and $50,000. The prize that can be won in the ''POWER $500'' area is $500. For a complete description of how these prizes can be won, see section 8 (relating to number and description of prizes and approximate odds). A player can win up to 16 times on a ticket.

 6. Approximate number of tickets printed for the game: Approximately 14,400,000 tickets will be printed for the Power $500 instant lottery game.

 7. Determination of prize winners:

 (a) Holders of tickets upon which a 5 (FIVE) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $50,000 (FTY THO) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that 5 (FIVE) symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50,000.

 (b) Holders of tickets upon which a 5 (FIVE) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $5,000 (FIV THO) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that 5 (FIVE) symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $5,000.

 (c) Holders of tickets upon which a POWER (WINALL) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $500 (FIV HUN) appears in eight of the ''Prize'' areas, a prize symbol of $100 (ONE HUN) appears in three of the ''Prize'' areas and a prize symbol of $50.00 (FIFTY) appears in four of the ''Prize'' areas, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $4,500.

 (d) Holders of tickets upon which a 5 (FIVE) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $1,000 (ONE THO) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that 5 (FIVE) symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $1,000.

 (e) Holders of tickets upon which a 5 (FIVE) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $500 (FIV HUN) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that 5 (FIVE) symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $500.

 (f) Holders of tickets upon which a $500 (WIN$500) symbol appears in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $500.

 (g) Holders of tickets upon which a 500 Burst (PWR500) symbol appears in the ''POWER $500'' area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $500.

 (h) Holders of tickets upon which a POWER (WINALL) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $50.00 (FIFTY) appears in four of the ''Prize'' areas, a prize symbol of $20.00 (TWENTY) appears in ten of the ''Prize'' areas and a prize symbol of $100 (ONE HUN) appears in one of the ''Prize'' areas, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $500.

 (i) Holders of tickets upon which a POWER (WINALL) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $100 (ONE HUN) appears in two of the ''Prize'' areas, a prize symbol of $50.00 (FIFTY) appears in four of the ''Prize'' areas, a prize symbol of $20.00 (TWENTY) appears in two of the ''Prize'' areas, a prize symbol of $10.00 (TEN DOL) appears in five of the ''Prize'' areas and a prize symbol of $5.00 (FIV DOL) appears in two of the ''Prize'' areas, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $500.

 (j) Holders of tickets upon which a POWER (WINALL) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $50.00 (FIFTY) appears in seven of the ''Prize'' areas, a prize symbol of $20.00 (TWENTY) appears in seven of the ''Prize'' areas and a prize symbol of $10.00 (TEN DOL) appears in one of the ''Prize'' areas, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $500.

 (k) Holders of tickets upon which a 5 (FIVE) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $100 (ONE HUN) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that 5 (FIVE) symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.

 (l) Holders of tickets upon which a POWER (WINALL) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $10.00 (TEN DOL) appears in five of the ''Prize'' areas and a prize symbol of $5.00 (FIV DOL) appears in ten of the ''Prize'' areas, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.

 (m) Holders of tickets upon which a POWER (WINALL) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $10.00 (TEN DOL) appears in two of the ''Prize'' areas, a prize symbol of $5.00 (FIV DOL) appears in 12 of the ''Prize'' areas and a prize symbol of $20.00 (TWENTY) appears in one of the ''Prize'' areas, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.

 (n) Holders of tickets upon which a 5 (FIVE) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $50.00 (FIFTY) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that 5 (FIVE) symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50.

 (o) Holders of tickets upon which a 5 (FIVE) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $20.00 (TWENTY) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that 5 (FIVE) symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $20.

 (p) Holders of tickets upon which a 5 (FIVE) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $10.00 (TEN DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that 5 (FIVE) symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $10.

 (q) Holders of tickets upon which a 5 (FIVE) symbol appears in the play area and a prize symbol of $5.00 (FIV DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under that 5 (FIVE) symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $5.

 8. Number and description of prizes and approximate odds: The following table sets forth the approximate number of winners, amounts of prizes and approximate odds of winning:

 POWER $500: Reveal a ''500 Burst'' (PWR500) symbol to win $500 instantly! POWER $500 is played separately.

 Prizes, including top prizes, are subject to availability at the time of purchase.

 9. Retailer incentive awards: The Lottery may conduct a separate Retailer Incentive Program for retailers who sell Power $500 instant lottery game tickets.

 10. Retailer bonus: The Lottery may offer a retailer bonus in connection with the sale of Pennsylvania instant lottery game tickets. If a retailer bonus is offered, a Lottery retailer shall be eligible for a bonus as described in this section. Lottery retailers who sell a winning ticket that entitles the ticket holder to a prize, either payable in a single installment or having a guaranteed minimum payout, of at least $100,000 and not exceeding $500,000 shall be paid a bonus of $500. Lottery retailers who sell a winning ticket that entitles the ticket holder to a prize, either payable in a single installment or having a guaranteed minimum payout, of at least $500,001 and not exceeding $1,000,000 shall be paid a bonus of $5,000. Lottery retailers who sell a winning ticket that entitles the ticket holder to a prize, either payable in a single installment or having a guaranteed minimum payout, of at least $1,000,001 and not exceeding $10,000,000 shall be paid a bonus of $10,000. A Lottery retailer is entitled only to the largest bonus for which they qualify on a winning ticket. A bonus will be initiated for payment after the instant ticket is claimed and validated. A bonus will not be awarded to a Lottery retailer that sells a non-winning Pennsylvania Lottery instant ticket used to enter a Pennsylvania Lottery second-chance drawing or promotion that is subsequently selected to win a prize.

 11. Unclaimed prize money: For a period of 1 year from the announced close of Power $500, prize money from winning Power $500 instant lottery game tickets will be retained by the Secretary for payment to the persons entitled thereto. If no claim is made within 1 year of the announced close of the Power $500 instant lottery game, the right of a ticket holder to claim the prize represented by the ticket, if any, will expire and the prize money will be paid into the State Lottery Fund and used for purposes provided for by statute.

 12. Governing law: In purchasing a ticket, the customer agrees to comply with and abide by the State Lottery Law (72 P.S. §§ 3761-101—3761-314), 61 Pa. Code Part V (relating to State Lotteries) and the provisions contained in this notice.

 13. Termination of the game: The Secretary may announce a termination date, after which no further tickets from this game may be sold. The announcement will be disseminated through media used to advertise or promote Power $500 or through normal communications methods.
