Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau; F-Classification and USL&HW Rating Value Filing

 On December 14, 2024, the Insurance Department received from the Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau (Bureau) proposed revisions to rates and rating values pertaining to F-Classification and United States Longshore and Harbor Workers (USL&HW) Compensation Act coverages to be effective April 1, 2025. The filing proposes the following:

 • An overall average decrease in collectible F-Classification rates of 8.60%. This overall figure represents an average; the effect of this filing on the rates for individual insureds will vary.

 • A change in the USL&HW compensation coverage percentage from 73.3% to 73.6%. This results in a USL&HW factor change from 1.733 to 1.736.

 • A change in the expense constant from $375 to $395.

 • A change in the tax multiplier from 1.0876 to 1.0958.

 The filing is available for review on the Bureau's web site at www.pcrb.com in the ''Filings'' section under ''Industry Resources.''
