Stream Redesignation Evaluations; Class A Wild Trout Streams; Water Quality Standards Review

 Under 25 Pa. Code § 93.4d (relating to processing of petitions, evaluations and assessments to change a designated use), the Department of Environmental Protection (Department) gives notice that an evaluation will be conducted on the stream sections listed in the following table to determine the proper water use designations in this Commonwealth's Water Quality Standards.

 Each of these streams has been classified by the Fish and Boat Commission as a Class A wild trout stream. The Department is seeking information concerning the water quality of the waters listed to supplement any evaluations or assessments that have been or are being performed for potential redesignation.

 Persons who have technical data concerning the water quality, instream habitat or biological condition of these stream sections are encouraged to make it available to the Department for consideration in the evaluations. These evaluations may lead to recommendations to the Environmental Quality Board for redesignation of the designated uses of all or some of these streams.

 Interested persons may submit data through Monday, February 3, 2025. Interested persons are encouraged to submit information using the Department's online eComment tool at www.ahs.dep.pa.gov/eComment. Data should be submitted by email to ecomment@pa.gov or to Zachery Fritz at zacfritz@pa.gov. Data must be submitted to Zachery Fritz, Water Quality Division, Bureau of Clean Water, P.O. Box 8774, Harrisburg, PA 17105-8774.
